Spastik’s “Corrupt Partition” is finally finished after 3 years of problems/hold ups/time issues. It first began back in late 2007 with the track “You” and one of the last tracks finished being “Take It All.”

Many things have held up the process of this recording. Here is a little list of some of the big things that held it up. At the end of 2007, a new motherboard was put in, causing a format/reload of all software. Mid 2008, the original laptop died and a new one was purchased. The last being a new desktop was purchased in beginning 2010.

The worst of them all was in March 2009 when his main partition and his music partition both received corrupt master boot records. After spending 2 days trying to recover what was left of it, all of his production files up to that point were corrupted. This includes over half of the tracks on the album (Dialup, 1986, You & Me, True Love, Tell Me, omgILU, and Star). Spastik was unable to make any further changes to these tracks, or resort to older/original files from earlier. Many of these tracks are the last renders of them, with only minor EQ adjustments to get them to the acceptable state. All of the other files/samples he had of them became bits and pieces of Limp Bizkit tracks and Ice Cube, also loosing over 200gb worth of his music collection.
